Weekend without a wish

We all love weekend; from school time we have a habit of making plans to the weekends.  We made plans to do fun activities or probably arrange a family or friend get together or do some other stuffs.  What if you don’t have any wish to do on the weekend? I know the thought is covering the gray emotions but it’s not like that. Sometime you don’t have any wish for the weekend, not even spending time at home.

I was having such things from the past months, where I don’t have any wish regarding the
weekend. It’s like the day where no one can give me official work but still I have many so called important works to finish.  Life is becoming monotonous and in fact the weekends too. The charm of weekends is vanishing and we are having predefined lists of activities to do or not to do. Why this is happening? Am I becoming too much methodical? Is my mind is running out of ideas?

My brain is having flooded with such questions and sadly even now I am unable to figure out the answers to such questions. Every week Friday pops up and I start trying harder to find a wish. Then one day I realized that weekends is not for fulfilling your wish its for living the life without any plans. The moment I realized this fact, my weekend starts becoming interesting. Now everything I do on weekend becomes my wish and I am now enjoying weekend without a wish.

Females – A tormented figure

From the molestation to the rape, females are now becoming a source of exploitation.  Every day, we have to read the news of rapes and molestation in the paper. Moreover, the situation is becoming worst as the news of acid attacks is growing. There was a time where women are considered to be the symbol of sacrifice and now they are becoming the target of rappers. It’s really disheartening to read such news in the paper and sadly, it continues to happen.

Government and police officials are keeps on saying that we must be aware and alert.
There are plenty of us who are alert regarding these issues but then again such dreadful acts keeps on happening.    Then, what is going wrong?

For some intellectual it is because of our system’s incompetence while for others it’s the results of extended freedom given to the females. For me both the reasons are the bullshits. For me it keeps on happening due to ignorance of moral. If you teach the kid moral lessons then he will think thousand times before breaking the law. Though enforcement of law is also a big concern but rather than threatening the people (that is what police officials do to impose laws) we must have to educate the people about the benefits of the law.

Everything will be in place once we start developing the morals and as it’s not a one day process, hence it is a humble request to all the females that please carry red chilly powder along with numbers of police in cell phone and avoid going in the secluded areas.  If you are facing even a tincture of eve teasing then complaint to the nearest police station, your ignorance might boost evildoer’s confidence.

I hope one day I will read a newspaper where there will be news of achievements of females not the agony of them.

Last moments

Life is but a dream for the dead.” – Gerard Way.

I read the quotation long ago and frankly I forgotten the after few minutes. Today, it was my first encounter with a soul leaving the body. I was in the veterinary hospital for the treatment of two small puppies and unfortunately death won. Though we managed to save one but lost the other. It was really a painful moment and the worst part was his last time expressions. I couldn’t even recall such painful expression and the moment soul left his body, I find strange serenity on his face.

By looking his last time expression I finally understand that death is rather peaceful than a
llife. He was really struggling to take his few last breath and the moment he stops taking it, the serenity sprawls over his face. Trying to hide our dejection we start paying thanks to god for ending his pain and to save the other one. The day was not good actually and before the clock strikes 12 I received a phone call that my maternal uncle that my grandpa left us.  He was also in the hospital and we are all pretty much prepared for such news. I was supposed to be at his cremation ceremony but due to my brother’s heath issues I stayed with him.  Everyone in my house was satisfied that his pain finally comes to an end.

From the last 24 hours I have been around the last moments of someone’s life and it’s really painful to be witness that life ending moment. These two incidents finally introduced me to the immortal truth of life. My perception towards the death is completely changed and by comparing the state before death and after death I realize that death is actually not a bad thing but it’s not the thing which you want to see around you.

May, the souls of my grandfather and that pup rest in peace forever

Nomadic and de-notified – a big question to equality

Last working day of the week brings a sense of joy and when you realize that half day is already gone then the minds starts gearing up for the party. I was sitting at my thia (indori name for hangout place) having a cup of hot tea discussing on some random topics. I noticed a woman around 60 years showing snakes to the persons for money. She was a snake charmer and as she approached towards me I just said that “agar police ne dekha to tumhe jail ho jayegi” (if police find you then you will be in jail) and she gave flat answer “to kya kare koi aur rasta bhi nahi hai” *(what to do, there is no way out). As most of us knows about the government programs regarding protection of snake in which they give charmer a handsome amount if they submit the snake without taking out his poison glands. So I suggested the way and she revealed that she gets only 30 Rs. for giving the snake and there is huge risk involved in it. If the doctor is not present then she has to take the poisonous snake back to home and bring him tomorrow. It is really risky as the kids are quite used to checking the boxes of snakes and one small error can put their child at risk.

As she was explaining her conditions I just reminded Franklin Templeton Investments partnered the TEDxGateway Mumbai in December 2012.  I watch the video of Mittal patel whose link is -http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=w8cZ2iJARPM

Honestly speaking I was forgotten the video but the predicament of that grey hair lady shaken me completely. She was not willing to do the job but she was not having any job. I called at Indore Zoo and enquired about the rates offered against the snake but they did not give me right answer. The lady left as I was busy in call (thanks to my friend for giving her some money from my behalf) but she left the question in my head - why the right of equality is not practiced in the India.

De-notified and nomadic tribes are also humans and if you are allowing dance bars on the grounds that they know only dancing and they can earn through it then why not these snake charmers. They are also a part of the society and seriously it’s a shame to live in the country where the fundamentals rights are violated in such manner. Before lokpal, before FDI, we must have to fix these issues as well. They are also Indians and they have the rights to enjoy the privileges enjoyed by us.

I would keep on blogging to ameliorate the condition of such tribes and Mittal Patel gods bless you.

Smart phones Stupid peoples

Welcome to new techno-friendly world, where everything is available on your palms.  Thanks to Martin cooper (inventor of cell phones) we are now able to keep ourselves engaged in useless activities. Though it is a good thing that we are at least having something which keeps us updated everywhere but nowadays the way cell phones are been used annoys me some time. I am sure many of you will accede to me that there are certain habits of this tech-gigs which irks us when you are hanging around with them. After observing some common irksome habits in the cell phone users I am pointing out in this blog so that if someone is having this habit, then he can stop doing it. Here are the points which irk the others (especially me) –

v Checking the Facebook while sitting with friends or in certain groups

v  Playing temple run in the group

v  Chatting on the whats app

v  Reading jokes and start smiling abruptly and when reasons is been asked by the colleague gave him the reply  “Nothing just checking whats app messages”

v  Checking the cell phone if it won’t ring in 10 minutes

v  Avoiding eye contact with the colleagues and keeps on looking in the screen of the mobile

v  Scrolling the Facebook profile up and down for no reason

v  Send the message to a group member while sitting in the group and ask him to see it and reply you.

Though all this habits is not bad when you are sitting alone but if you are doing it in the group then you may irritate some of the members. Do whatever you want to do on smart phones but at least try to avoid being social on social networking when you are sitting in actual society.  If there is any habit left then please write it down in the comments and I will surely add that in my upcoming posts. So, start avoiding these habits and stop irritating the others.

Reopening dance bars: Time to awaken our morals

Finally, a cheerful day has arrived to the dance bar owners and the dancers. Supreme Court finally lifts the ban from the dance bars and as the dance bar’s legal representative has said that one can earn the living by dancing, now it’s the time for them to make some money.  Social activists, Maharashtra police and government of Maharashtra were taken aback by the decisions but now it’s useless.  According to the government, dance bar will acts as a den to the anti-social elements while social activists sees it as the beginning of the fall of the Indian culture.

Let’s not get into the details about it, when I first read the news, I was also a bit surprised
surprised by the decision.  I never expected the Supreme Court to give such decisions but never the less I personally welcomed this type of decisions. Banning the dance bars just because it is hurting the religious and social sentiments is not a good thing at all. Moreover, if you are allowing the person to vote at the age 18 and getting married at 21 (for boys) then why you are not allowing him to decide what’s right and what’s wrong.

If the person is finding it wrong then he can stay at safe distance from the dance bars.  Though the concern of police is quite valid but I am sure that they can surely find a way to handle this. For most of us it’s the decision that can provoke the youngsters to indulge in such inappropriate activity (as per social activists) but then again it’s necessary for the development of morals. Restraining the person to choose the activity of enjoyment is not suited to 21 century India and it would far better if we keep the citizens free to choose what they want to do.

You cannot teach the person what is right if you are not presenting him what is wrong. Moreover, watching the dance is not a bad thing at all. It’s neither injurious to health nor it contaminate the mentality of the person. For all those who are disappointed by the decisions, I apologize to them for writing this blog. Let’s see what will be the outcome of this decision and let’s hope we can develop a strong moral.

Dying hunger

We are alive by the hunger and if hunger left us, our soul will also leave us. These words echoed in my mind for quite a long time. It wasn’t spoken by any spiritual leader nor I have read it in any books but it was the words which came from the mouth of the retired government employee who was preparing for his death. Yes, he was preparing for the death. I talk to him only once or twice in my life and I always find him busy in recalling his hunger. He was one of those whom I saw regularly at my thia (Indori  word for the hangout place)  and I never been tempted to strike a conversation with him.

With his favorite navy cut cigarette in hands, he used to utter the words that increase your
hunger or you will die soon. Few months back I got news that the old man was no more and those who were accompanying him were used to say that he was quite an eccentric character. Though I don’t know about him but his words forced me to observe the individuals. I was shocked to observe that his words were absolutely right. When I was a child I was having a huge list of demands and I often tires to make the deal with my dad to fulfill those demands. This will continue till I start earning and now my demands went on to new level. While I never find my dad was having such a long list of demands and he just willing to fulfill our demands. As my demands now restricted myself, he started living the complacent life.

He is also paying more attention towards the spiritual insights of the life and now he is also moving on the path of submitting his soul to the almighty. This thought seriously bothers me and to prevent my dad thinking in that manner, I again started raising my demand and in order to fulfill those demands he is now again active. The old man was right, it was the hunger who keeps us alive and there is no substitute for us.

If someone says that control your desires and live a complacent life then just pass the smile and recall the first sentence of my write up. Stay hungry enough to digest both sorrow and happiness to live longer.

Relationship – a feeling to cherish lifetime

Waking up early and checking the cell phone to read the messages is the part of my routine life. Once I received good morning messages and jokes, I began my day but every day I find one thing missing i.e. a message saying “good morning baby love you a lot”. It was my ex-style of wishing me the morning and even after a year of separation, I still missed the message. Some says it was my true love while others strongly believe that I am wasting my time. Opinions of others do not matter to me and I don’t want to know what the exact reason of my predicament is.

Generally people are afraid to go in the relationship once they have broken up with someone and they are preparing themselves for the arrange marriages. Well, not the case with me. Though I am not in a state where I can even make out what I want from my life but I surely don’t want fear of being in the relationship in my mind. No matter what happens in the end and who is guilty, I enjoyed the every single moments of being in the relationship. In fact every one of us enjoys the every moments of relationships like early morning wishing messages and late night calls.

When someone is in the relationship then everything changes drastically. You tend to pay attention to minute details and it actually makes you more sensitive. I was one of those persons who don’t care about the rest of the world but as soon as I came into the relationship I learn the importance of the society and now this society is my place to avoid dejection.  Though morbid thoughts did sneak in my mind but I prefer to remain positive and full of energy in the day timings.

Cursing the relationship just because you cannot work out the things with your partner is nothing but bullshit for me. It was not the relation which asks you to do stuffs in which you are losing the comfort; it was you who lose your comfort by the name of the relationship. I hardly notice any changes in me and I am still pretty much the same. In fact I am now having more respect to the persons who are in the relationship and I just can wish them the luck.

Please stop cursing the relationship and let the cupid finding you the right partner for you who knows you might again be receiving the love you messages soon.

Save the unborn kill the alive

After having a missed Sunday (that’s what I called when I miss reading news), I finally turned up the online portals for the recent activities and the protest in Ireland stuck in my eyes. There are thousands of social activist protesting against the abortion bills which is most likely to be passed by the government. As this bill will legalize the abortion to save the life of the mother, hence I would personally feel that protesting for it is not right. While on other hands the worries of the protestor is also seemed to be quite valid as it will increase the abortion rates.

After the death of the Indian dentist, government of Ireland prepares the law to make the
the abortion legal. With all respect to the protestor’s worries, I personally feel that going for the abortion to save the life of the mother is better than forcing her to deliver the baby by risking her life. As the baby is yet to come in the world, hence aborting him for the sake of saving the existing life is not a bad thing.  I may sound a bit cruel as I am putting the unborn’s life at risk but don’t forget that the emotions are also attached with the mother who was about to deliver the baby.

Government may define the guidelines for legal abortion which will stymies the abortion rates and will reduce the protestor’s worries to a great level. Rather than protesting the laws, social activist must work towards educating the people and for the sake of some inhuman (who go for abortion without a valid reason) we cannot put the mother’s life at risk. I am impatiently waiting for the bill to be passed as it will prevent another death of the generator of the human race.

Tactical errors making it easy for congress

Festival of elections is coming closer and all the participants are ready with their acts. Every party is preparing hard some changes their lead performer while others are still gambling on the old performers. Reading the current movements in the corridors of politics, I was a bit surprised to figure out the tactical loop holes which party of opposition is leaving. Though I am not an experienced election analyst but still I am able to figure out some tactical errors in the election strategy of BJP.

First and the foremost blunder of BJP is that they are concentrating on the single man to win
the election while they forgot that government consists of many leaders. Apart from NAMO, there is no such leader in BJP who can influence the mass audience. With due respect to all the leaders of BJP, many of us watch the LOK SABHA telecast and numerous of times we encountered Sushma Swaraz raising pity questions. Apart from Modi, Arun Jateli, Yashvant Sinha and Jaswant Singh, none of the leaders of BJP is having control over finance which puts them on the back foot.

Fractions between Shivraj Singh Chauhan (chief minister of M.P.) and national level leaders can be seen in the statements of Shivraj Singh Chauhan which again not a positive sign for BJP. Shivraj Singh recently stated in the meet that he too did the developments but only Modi was given limelight. Moreover, with the end of old alliance with Nitish Kumar and Yadiyurappa, BJP is looking tired and a bit biased. Narendra Modi is trying to circulate energy but others are making a mess. Winning a state level election is completely different and I do compliment congress for removing a powerful and popular leader like Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji from the post.

These errors along with the mediocre level politics of raising questions over scams and asking for the enquiry will not do any good to BJP. As an unbiased voter, I could only hope that I would see some real quality political stuffs from BJP than by just posting Photoshop edited images of Modi stating Bharat Nirman or the Next P.M.

Indian education creating cowards

When I was a kid and got low marks in the test, my parents used to tell me the importance of good grades and as I entered in the college, faculties were busy in repeating those words. Though we all know the success stories of many uneducated peoples and we just think they are destined to become successful. Is that true? I don’t think so, they put lot of effort in getting success and one thing which makes them successful is their ability to take risks.

Just look at the list of successful entrepreneurs and you will know that most of them are
known for taking risks. As they have nothing to lose and their degrees do not entice them to get the job, hence they left with no option but to try. Many of us are not doing business because we think we are not made for it. Though reality is completely different and in fact it’s our education system which instills this thinking in our mind. When I entered in 11th and take mathematics as subject everyone was saying that you will get many jobs in this field. These words follow me even when I decide to take the MBA.

Rather than teaching us the real concepts, our education systems are teaching us those concepts which are necessary to get the job. Moreover, they make us aware of a problem which makes us cowards. Many of us witnessed road accidents but only few of us helped the victims, this is because many of us know that police will register the statement and will ask us to come in the police station while many illiterate thelawalas and auto rickshaw drivers helped the victims.

I am trying not to be a cowards but many times my basic bookish education won against my willingness. I hope that I soon get the courage to do what I want to do. I wish the same for all those who are sharing this state with me.

Intellectual insects

After a routine day of work, most of us visit the hangout places for smoking and other purposes. If someone is not having any addiction to nicotine or caffeine then also he visits these places. This is so because we all want to meet our friends to tell them the activity of the day. Me too having the habit of visiting such places and usually we came across the intellectual insects. After being fed up from hearing the crap opinions of the people I decide to give them classy name i.e. intellectual insects. You will easily find such insects around you and no matter they are having knowledge about the topic or not they will always give you their opinion.

Unfortunately we have the freedom of speech and hence I cannot ask him to be quite in the
public places but sometimes it is really annoying. Just a few days ago I met an intellectual insect who was working as a marketing executive for a FMCG and trying his luck in the bank examination. He was really a pain in the ears. From proving Sachin’s selfishness to the raising question about the character of Sonia Gandhi, he was all set for another brain teasing session. I sensed his intentions and tries to escape but failed.

Thank to other intellectual insect who was in favor of Narendra Modi, decides to take him. I was enjoying the drivel of these people and I was expecting some action as well. Unfortunately, they were separated by so called Netas of the society and once again my mere wish ends. They both left the place but still the question remains in my mind i.e. who feed these insects?

After spending couple of nights in searching the answer, I finally realized that only three things feed them, i.e. company of other intellectual insects, lack of thinking and confidence. So, if you are finding these things in yourself then please start thinking before uttering the word else welcome to my intellectual insect group

Other side of life

I was down and out, having troubled body and sick soul! And the most ridiculous thing was, I was waiting for the fairy to come and solve my issues. Thanks to the star movies, for telecasting the “pursuit of happyness”. I personally love this movie and when I start watching the movie, everything was coming back into its place. I realized that nothing was holding me back and I just need to start the work. Though, professionally I never left the work but I was not working with full mind and heart. I spend three quarters of mid night to figure out the problem and now I am all geared up to start the day fresh.

Clubbed with energy, I woke up early in the morning with all preplanned activities and
just before I start to execute the plans, I received a mail. The mail was of my old friend, who left his job and now wanted to do business. We often had a chat on the issue but it seems like he made up his mind.  I was taking the positivity that he is finally doing what he wants to.  Day was quite nice but not the evening. Again I was in the world of miseries as I heard the recent development of my ex.

I was reacting as if I don’t care but the truth was I do care. I clubbed myself again and trying to continue the flow. Unfortunately, the flow ended. Feeling even more miserable I decide to take a cigarette and went to the shop. The shop keeper was always in joyful mood and this time I was expecting him to deliver a good joke but he failed. I was perplexed as nothing was happening according to my thinking and I was feeling detached from the world. I can’t even recall a single person whom I can seek advice. With numb fingers I was checking my mails and I re-read my friend’s mail. There was nothing motivational written on it and as I recalling his words “Its my life and I want to take risk.”

Every young so called entrepreneur says these words but this time it worked for me. I realized that I should be less sensitive towards the people but more sensitive towards the dreams. Days past still no signs of growth but still I am complacent with my life. Before ending the blog post, I just want to say please give a try to your dreams so that your heart will always remain complacent and who knows it will lead you to the other side of life.
